Flounder
Flounder are flat, sand-colored ambush artists that bury beside passes, drops, and structure waiting to inhale a passing bait. Their camouflage makes them a sneaky, rewarding catch.
The fall 'flounder run' is a local favorite, prized as much for the table as the hunt.

How we catch Flounder
We work jigs and live baits slowly along sandy edges, passes, and structure on inshore and nearshore trips.
On the table
Among the finest eating inshore — delicate, mild white fillets that are a favorite for stuffing or pan-frying.
