Tarpon hooked near Anna Maria Island

Tarpon

Also called: Silver King

The tarpon is the Silver King — a giant, chrome-scaled gamefish that erupts from the water in head-shaking leaps. Hooking one is the pinnacle of Gulf-coast light-tackle fishing.

Each spring and summer they migrate along our beaches and through the passes, and our dedicated trips put you eye-to-eye with the fish of a lifetime.
